Welcome to our joint effort to bring Union benefits and protection to ALL workers at Knott’s Berry Farm.
We’re glad you’re here.
About Us
We are the Unions who represent thousands of workers across dozens of job classifications at Disneyland and Universal Studios, so we are very familiar with the challenges you face at Knott’s.
Low wages, substandard working conditions, scheduling inequity, workplace favoritism, retaliation, and general managerial abuse are all-too-common in non-Union workplaces in which the bosses call the shots without the checks and balances of a solid collective bargaining agreement negotiated by a strong Union.
For nearly 80 years
Knott’s Berry Farm was owned by the Knott family. Whenever the workers would attempt to band together and demand higher wages – the Knott matriarch would address the unhappy employees with tears in her eyes and explain that this was a family owned business and the family simply couldn’t afford to pay their workers a living wage.
And because they loved the park and their jobs, the workers would grudgingly accept that statement as fact. But Knott’s has been owned by Cedar Fair, a huge company, since 1997 – and it’s now owned by the new Six Flags Entertainment Corporation, which is currently worth eight billion dollars.
Eight billion dollars!
The time has come
So, clearly, there is no longer any excuse for the substandard wages and conditions you’ve tolerated for far too long. It’s time to band together, to fight for fair wages, strong representation, and a seat at the table where the decisions that affect your working life are made.
You and your co-workers deserve better, and we’d like to help you get it.
Strength in numbers
While there have been attempts in the past to organize single departments within Knott’s, this is the first unified effort to bring Union benefits to all of the workers at the park.
There is undeniable strength in numbers and now is the time to band together to fight for everything that you and your co-workers deserve.
This will be a historic push for economic equity at Knott’s. We want you to be a part of it.
If you scroll down – you’ll find a form that will help connect you with the appropriate Union representative for your department. Your employer will not know that you’ve requested information from us, or have spoken to a Union representative, unless you tell them.

What is a labor union?
A labor union is an organized group of workers that unites to protect their rights and advance their collective interests in the workplace.
By providing a unified voice, unions enable employees to negotiate for better wages, benefits, working conditions, and job security.
Through collective bargaining, workers gain more leverage than they would individually, allowing them to secure fair treatment and improvements.
Unions can also offer legal support, advocacy, and pooled resources to ensure that workers are protected and represented in disputes, creating a stronger and more equitable workplace environment.
Key benefits of labor unions
The key functions of a labor union include collective bargaining, where union representatives negotiate with employers on behalf of workers to secure better wages, benefits, and working conditions. Unions also advocate for safe workplaces, ensuring that safety regulations are followed and that employees work in a healthy, hazard-free environment.
By representing employees in disputes with management, unions protect workers from unfair treatment, wrongful termination, and discrimination, acting as a mediator to resolve conflicts and enforce labor rights.

Why are labor unions important?
Labor unions serve as a crucial counterbalance to employer power. Without unions, individual workers often have little ability to negotiate better wages, benefits, or working conditions, especially in large corporations or industries where employers hold the majority of power.
By forming a collective body, unions provide workers with the leverage they need to secure fair treatment, enforce labor laws, and advocate for broader changes in workplace standards, enable employees to negotiate for better wages, benefits, working conditions, and job security.
